Maintaining Your Outdoor Grill
With a little maintenance and care, your grill would have a non-stick surface every time you use it!
Season Your Grill Before Each Use
Seasoning your grill will make it non-stick. You may have to do this repeatedly depending on how often you use it. The steps to season your grill include the following:
- Heat your grill.
- Apply a high-temperature cooking oil to the surface such as coconut oil or canola oil.
- Allow the cooking oil to cook-off. It will take around 10 to 15 minutes. Once the oil stop smoking, repeat the process 2 or 3 more times.
- Once this process is complete, you should notice your cooking surface has changed to a dark blush-ish black color.
